Taylor Precision Sharpening was born out of a lifelong passion for quality knives and tools. Proper sharpening can make any cutting task feel easy and fulfilling. I strongly believe the old adage that a dull knife is a dangerous knife. A dull knife is unpredictable and can slice through material unevenly and with varying degrees of pressure from the user. A sharp knife is predictable, consistent, and ultimately, much safer to use. This concept drives The Taylor Precision Sharpening business model. My goal is to provide safe, precision cutlery and tools to suit each customer's needs.

About the Owner - Dan Taylor
Dan grew up in New Hampshire and has been collecting knives, restoring tools, and hand sharpening since he was young. With a professional background including quality control, construction, and kitchen experience, Dan has dealt with knives and tools on a daily basis in both a professional and personal capacity. His passion for quality goes into every sharpening job he completes. In his free time, Dan enjoys camping, working in his shop, and spending time with his wife, son, and two dogs.
